Here's a little bit about myself: I'm a vain old battleaxe from the mean streets of New York City. I dabble occasionally in modeling and the like, but my main passions are writing and music-making. I love to read, and my music tastes are as eclectic as Luna Lovegood's Pokedex. Oh, and I am a major nerd - but, you've probably already guessed that about me.
I also love Harry Potter, anything to do with the stuff. I'm borderline obsessed - thus, expect to see a lot of entries about my obsession on this blog! I am also an avid member of Pottermore - and a proud Slytherin. If you want to friend me, go ahead! The name's DraconisShadow4111.
I also enjoy fashion and makeup. I always try to do something Different and Unique with my outfits and makeup. At times, it is a great success. At times, it is a painful failure. I am contemplating printing out all my horrible fashion ideas into a photo album, just to frighten the future generations - but inevitably, I am too lazy to do it. However, I'll be certain to share my attempts with you all on this blog, where you can either praise me or laugh at me. I do have a Lookbook.nu, the link is that huge photo of me on the bottom of the page. I will also do my best to post nail and makeup tutorials - usually, some kind of nerdiness will be involved.
I am obsessed with cute sparkly things as well. I like lolita fashion and gyaru fashion, from Japan. I am smart enough to know, now, that I look about as good in Lolita as Pansy Parkinson does in a sack-cloth dress. I like popular Korean styles, and often try to emulate them - sometimes, failing miserably along the way. In any case, I'll do my best to keep you guys updated with my cute sparkly acquisitions as well.
Postcard-collecting is a hobby of mine. I like both vintage and current postcards. Given the chance, I'll spend two-three hours rooting around in boxes full of them. I actually would buy them by the boxload, but space is limited at the moment. Maybe someday...
At the moment, I am one of the regular contributors for Rising Sun Freestyle, a music blog that features NO genres and ALL music. I also am an occasional contributor to the very pink KawaiiKakkoiiSugoi.com, a blog about cute stuff from Japan. I also admin a Harry Potter page on Facebook with an army of other awesome admins - however, since being an admin is akin to being a masked crusader, I'm not going to tell y'all what that page is. I also lurk on Fanfiction.net. Finally, I am one of the founding members of 3 Chic Geeks, a blog about geek culture and geek fashion.
When I am not blogging, I am working on a bevy of ghostwriting projects. I am also in the middle of writing my first book, a murder mystery set in the hip parts of New York City.
